Fave Things Thursday!!

I LOVE horse racing and this Saturday is the Kentucky Derby. Last year I picked 1st, 2nd and 4th. I never bet though. I've never even been to a real track. I don't like crowds. but I LOVE the Derby and never miss it..so this Thursdays fave thing is the 135th running of the Kentucky Derby!!!!

Timmy strikes again..

I did not go to my animal sale today as planned. The weather was hot yesterday but cold and rainy this morning. Plus having to drive out at 3:30 AM didn't appeal to me. I must be getting really old! It's probably a good thing I didn't go because who knows what I might have come home with. Of course there are 2 more smaller sales coming up..tee hee..

So I have some time this evening and I feel I should really let you friends of Timmy know what is going on with him.The reason his new name is Terrible Timmy.

Well you all know how I love easter but because of my migraine and headaches problems I am suppose to stay away from sweets..So I was careful all day about my sugar and was really looking forward to this little candy. To make it worse ..he had eaten most of it but when I went to grab it he licked the rest of it..bugger..had to throw it out...I must admit..I spanked him...

So I said to MrB "Whaaaa..Timmy ate my choc.bunny"
Mr B said "That smug little Ba***rd. Chocolate is poisonous to dogs..give him the rest"

While I was telling Mr B how that was not a nice thing to say I looked down and he had opened my purse again and pulled out my cookies!! I was furious and locked him away for a while.

So when I brought him out later I put the purse on the table. 10 min. later he was laying on the floor chewing something..I yelled "Spit it Out!!" It was my roll of Tums. I guess the chocolate upset his stomach..I wasn't worried about him eating choc. though. The time he ate a 1/3 of a brick of rat poison never even phased him. Cast iron stomach this one.

We won't even go into the peeing in the food bowl incident...so that was it..Timmy needed an intervention. Since he is quite famous and I wanted to keep this on the hush hush I decided rehab was the way to go. Of course Timmy said it had to be "celebrity" rehab..So I checked him into Celebrity Rehab with Dr Drew.

You will have to excuse the pic but Timmy refused to be groomed and would not wear any clothes..just his fave hat.. so off he went as is. You can see the terrible state he was in.

He has made some good friends though and has sent me some pics which I will share with you.

This is Brittany Spears showing Timmy how to get a clean , close shave. She did his hair after this.

Amy Winehouse gave him makeup tips which I hope he ignores.

Finally Timmy told Lindsay Lohan if you are going to pass out keep your mouth closed. It stops the drool.

Here is Timmy in the lounge of the rehab after Brittany got him cleaned up. Thanks Brit for all your help! I think he is getting ready to steal something off the table. He really needs help.

Finally here he is in a group session. Gary Busey was trying to look cool in camo..but Timmy out did him for sure. If you click on this pic you can see Timmy closer.

So my friends this is where we are at right now. I will keep you posted on Timmy's journey as it continues. Please keep your fingers crossed that Timmy can be cured of his stealing, peeing, scavenging, pooping and licking himself in public areas.

So I have tried to catch up but I just realized I follow ALOT of blogs. I still have comments to make and an award to celebrate, there are so many lambs being born on some of my farm blogs and so many cute pics, I think I am on blog overload! . Work has become very busy so I can't sit around and play on the computer anymore...like I use to..probably why I was able to follow so many blogs...sigh...


I still can't talk about Terrible Timmy at Easter..but I will..eventually..I am off to a HUGE animal sale this weekend, the one where I bought Buster Peebody actually. I am allowed to buy a pigeon..1 pigeon..pretty pathetic...

Sooooooooooooo I was playing ball with Pip and the goats were feeling frisky. Jacob the big guy jumped in the air, spun towards me and butted me in the gut..very gently. When he was wee this behaviour was not acceptable now he is so big some serious damage could be done!..so he got a cuff upside the head and was quite meek after that. It got me to thinking..I like goats, they are one of my Fave things..

Since Easter Picks are gone and quite a few of you seemed sad... I am inventing Fave Things Thursday!!!! I am also trying to find more of the "unknown talent" on Etsy.. So here we go with my Fave Things Thursday..and today is GOATS!!!!!

I'm back!

Hi ..sorry I disappeared for a while but I have had non stop cluster migraines and headaches. I'm still hurting but alot less than before. So I am going to slowly catch up on all your news in your blogs and try to get some new pics to post. Things are finally warming up here so I might be able to get some nice pics of the farm animals!

My easter was spent with a bad headache and a horrible little Timmy..but thats for another post...

Busy Weekend

What a busy weekend. One day of totally crap weather and one day of pure sunshine..I got alot done on both days.

I spent alot of time needlefelting this weekend, the dogs just laid about and behaved themselves.

Timmy was enjoying the sunshine. Boy does he need a shave!

I don't know if I have mentioned it or not but I am learning to groom dogs. I actually know how already but am learning the breed styles and different methods and equipment. You would think then that my dogs would be just groomed perfectly. Think again :)

Look at Buster Peebody.

If I saw this dog as a finished product at a grooming shop I would run the other way. Poor Buster Peebody gets a bad rap though. I bought 7 new blades and they are all different lengths so I decided to test them out...on Buster Peebody..all of them..his legs look hilarious..each one is done differently.. Poor Buster Peebody..

Oh..and by the way..I felted a pug. He took me 3 trys to get right..yes 3!! I think he looks pretty cute though. If you want to see more of him he is listed in my etsy store.

The Dentist and of course Timmy.

My fiance is a big dog lover so he is trying to bond with my little guys. Buster Peebody thinks he is great, FiFi is beginning to really like him..Pippin LOVES him but then there is Timmy. Timmy has played with him, something he never does and allows him to scratch his butt but his attitude towards my fiance(MrB) is changing. Supposedly he gives MrB the stink eye. I didn't believe it until he took some pics of Timmy sitting on my lap looking at him. He WAS giving him the stink eye!!!. Now whenever MrB comes in Timmy starts shaking and stares at me with those big "oh help me" eyes. Mr B says he just does it to get me to come over and cuddle him, which I do..Mr B says he is a smug, little bas***d!!It also does not help when we walked into the kitchen and there was Timmy standing in the middle of the table. Mr B gave me the stink eye then.

I think the bonding still needs a little work...

So Timmy was helping me heal after my dentist appointment and we were discussing what we would look like if we were rabbits..so I went to one of my fav. web sites..Disapproving Rabbits..to find pics of what we were talking about.

Timmy and I decided that if he was a rabbit he would look like this

Timmy thinks he has more hair than he actually does.

This was me at the dentist yesterday

2 1/2 hours in the chair..they finally put a wedge in my jaw to help keep my mouth open...They put enough cotton in there to stuff a bear..5 freezing needles and the one tooth would still not freeze all the way so the dentist says "hang on..I only need to drill for 2 more seconds" Longest 2 secs. of my life! I came out with a fat lip, a frozen eye and nose and and the inability to eat applesauce without it dripping out of my mouth..and I paid for this...here's $100 bucks..please punch me in the face...
